Tóm tắt Botanical Characteristics: The external morphology and detailed anatomical features of the vegetative organs were described. Preliminary taxonomic identification classified the plant as Selaginella delicatula Desv. Alston (Selaginella sp.), belonging to the genus Selaginella; Chemical Constituents: Phytochemical screening showed positive results for sterols, lipids, carotenoids, flavonoids, tannins, saponins, and sugars. No detection of cardiac glycosides or alkaloids was observed. Thin-layer chromatography (TLC) using the solvent system hexane:ethyl acetate (10:1) provided good separation and was chosen for compound isolation. Three fractions were isolated, although they remained impure; Biological Activity: The total ethanol extract of the study sample showed weak acetylcholinesterase inhibitory activity, reaching approximately 24% at the highest tested concentration (256 µg/mL).
