Thông tin xuất bản 2025
Tóm tắt This study aimed to evaluate the outcomes of N₂O/O₂ conscious sedation in managing dental treatments for children aged 3 to 16 years. A single-arm clinical intervention was conducted at the Department of Pediatric Dentistry, National Hospital of Odonto-Stomatology, Hanoi, Vietnam, involving 32 children who required sedation for effective dental treatment. Eligible patients were monitored during treatment for sedation levels, vital signs, behavior, and complications, with outcomes assessed using behavioral scales and sedation effectiveness metrics. All 32 patients successfully completed their planned dental treatments. Stable vital signs were observed throughout sedation, with no significant adverse effects. Behavioral evaluations revealed cooperative responses in 81.3% of patients, and 78.1% achieved minimal sedation, while 18.8% reached moderate sedation. Younger patients required slightly longer sedation times, with no significant differences in N₂O concentratio
